Howard VanEtters was from the city of Serdica in Thrace - now known as Sofia, Bulgaria. Howard and Michel Robichaux are siblings - they share a sire - Diotimus Artimidorus, who turned both men during the Battle of Amphipolis in xxx BCE.

Later, he moved onward to Londinium, and then helped build the town of Vindolanda alongside his brother Howard and his friend David Lambert. Vindolanda was the town nearest Hadrian’s wall. Being in Vindolanda was one of the key moments in his life: it was where he met a human woman named Aibhilin (pronounced Ave-leen), turned her Virehn, and then married her.
